Is BannerCutter really free?+
Yes. Every tool on this site exports without a watermark or account. There are no paid export options in this version.
Do my images get uploaded?+
No. Your selected image is decoded and cut on your own device. Downloads are generated locally. We do not send image data to a server.
Which image files can I use?+
Upload PNG, JPEG, or WebP images up to 25 MB and 40 megapixels. Animated files are not supported. Export PNG to retain transparency, or JPEG for a smaller file.
Will splitting reduce image quality?+
Original-proportion splits preserve source pixels when zoom is set to 1×. Platform crops may remove edges, and fixed-size presets resize the image. The editor warns when the source needs to be enlarged.
How are the pieces numbered?+
Tiles are numbered from left to right, then top to bottom. Each ZIP includes a guide. For newest-first profile grids, publish in reverse numerical order.
